The Professional Poster Session provides a platform for presenting technical work across the mineral and geoscience sectors, including exploration, structural geology, geochemistry, geometallurgy, and emerging technologies.​

Posters support the exchange of technical knowledge in a visual and interactive format, complementing the oral presentation program and enabling direct engagement with attendees.

Posters will be displayed throughout the Symposium. Presenters will be assigned designated times to be available for discussion and engagement. 

Submissions will be evaluated based on: ​

• Relevance to the Symposium theme​
• Technical quality​
• Contribution to geoscience knowledge​

Applicants submitting talk abstracts may be considered for poster presentation if not selected for oral presentation. 

Each presenter will be provided with a display board (8 ft wide × 4 ft tall) suitable for push-pin mounting. ​

Posters should include clear visuals such as maps, diagrams, and charts. Tables may be requested for physical samples or supporting materials.

Abstract submission deadline: May 1, 2026 ​

Final poster submission deadline: February 1, 2027​
