David R. Shaddrick Fund
The GSN launched the David R. Shaddrick Fund in August 2026 to provide financial support to eligible organizations and individuals conducting field-based educational programs.

University Students

Students are encouraged to participate in the Symposium through technical presentations, posters, and session attendance.

Participation provides exposure to current research, industry practices, and professional networking opportunities.

K–12 Participation

The Symposium supports engagement with elementary, middle, and high school students through educational outreach and attendance opportunities.

Schools and educational groups interested in participation are encouraged to contact the Symposium Secretary.

General Participation

Industry professionals, organizations, and members of the public may participate in Symposium sessions, field trips, and short courses.
