The symposium committee has reserved rooms at the Nugget Casino Resort from April 20 to May 2, 2027. The room rates include Resort Tower King rooms at $95.00 per night from Sunday to Thursday and $105.00 on Friday and Saturday. This discounted rate must be booked by March 31,2027, as full rates will apply for bookings beyond this date. So, get in and book early to avoid disappointment.

To receive a discounted room rate, the quote group name for reservations is “Geological Society of Nevada Symposium, April 20 to May 2, 2027.”

A maximum of four persons per guest room is permitted. Each room must have a guest who is 21 years of age or older.

A deposit is required to confirm the booking, and the amount for the first night’s room rate and occupancy tax is required to be paid at the time of making the booking reservation.

The Nugget Casino Resort room check-in time is at 3:00 p.m. and the checkout time is at 11:00 a.m. Departures after 11:00 a.m. are subject to a full-day charge.

The Nugget has an airport shuttle service to and from the Reno-Tahoe International Airport, so no Uber or taxi fare needs to be paid. To catch the Nugget casino shuttle at the Reno-Tahoe International Airport, go to Door D of the baggage claim area and find the ground transportation loop where shuttles pick up passengers. The shuttle departs the airport every hour on the half-hour and runs daily, though the specific hours of operation may vary, so it’s best to check their website or social media for the most current schedule.
